At Humphrey’s each pair of gloves is hand cut using Victorian dies by talented craftsmen. This involves the sizing and cutting of 16 pieces of leather for each glove. We produce gloves which are individually fitted to your hands, and need some custom measurements in order to do this.

How to measure for your bespoke gloves

  • Download and print out the Fitting Form.
  • Trace the outline of your hands onto the form.
  • Enter your measurements for A to I in inches.
  • Take these measurements from the palm side of your hand.
  • For G, measure around the circumference of your knuckles, excluding your thumb. Keep your hands flat when you take the measurement, do not make a fist.
  • Complete the address, style and colour details on the form.
  • Send the measurements to Humphrey’s either by email or post.

How to measure for Ready to Wear gloves

Our Ready to Wear styles take their sizes from the measurement around your knuckles.

  • As for G above, measure around the circumference of your knuckles, excluding your thumb. Keep your hands flat when you take the measurement. Do not make a fist. This is the only measurement required for Ready to Wear gloves.

Our standard styles take their sizes from the measurement around your knuckles.
