Introduction
The following terms and conditions apply to the use of this website and outline the legal obligations and responsibilities between the customer and Humphrey’s. Please read through these terms and conditions before placing your order. By using this website/placing an order with us, you are deemed to have read, understood and agreed these terms and conditions.
Placing an Order
Once you have placed an order with Humphrey’s, it will be deemed that you have read, understood and accept these Terms and Conditions. We will send you an email confirming that your order has been received, but this is not a confirmation that your offer to purchase goods has been accepted. A contract between you and Humphrey’s for the sale of our products will only exist once an order has been paid for, and processed for production. All orders are subject to acceptance and product availability.
Prices and availability of goods are subject to change without notice. The advertised delivery charge will be added to your order value unless stated otherwise.
Pricing and Payment
We ask for payment in advance of processing the order. We accept payment by credit/debit card, PayPal, cheque or if you prefer you can contact us for details of how to make a payment directly via bank transfer.
All products offered by Humphrey’s are priced in Sterling (GBP). The price charged to overseas customers will be subject to the exchange rate applied by your credit/debit card company. Any import duty payable in your own country at the time of delivery, remains the customer’s responsibility.
We make every effort to ensure that the pricing information on the website is accurate. If a discrepancy is found, we will inform you as soon as possible. If the price is incorrect, you may cancel your order or reconfirm your order at the correct price. We will not be obliged to supply goods at the incorrect price.
We reserve the right to adjust prices and specifications of goods at any time, but changes will not affect orders which we have already accepted.
Delivery
All of our gloves are sent by Royal Mail and require a signature on delivery. We will contact you the day before the goods are shipped, allowing time for you to amend any delivery details.

At Humphrey’s our gloves are made bespoke to order, and we endeavour to deliver them within the set timescales. However, from time to time the projected delivery date may change due to unforeseen circumstances. If this is the case, we will contact you as soon as possible with a revised delivery time.
Please note that customers outside of the UK will also be liable for any import duty payable in their own country.
Returns Policy
At Humphrey’s we are confident that you will be more than pleased with your purchase. However if, for whatever reason, you wish to return your gloves, we have a ‘no questions’ policy within 28 days of the items been received. We will change, re-make the gloves or issue a full refund.
If you feel that the gloves do not fit well, then please contact sam@humphreysgloves.co.uk, to discuss the problem and find a resolution.
You will need to:
- return the gloves unused, with no marks or signs of wear, in their original packaging
- include a new hand fitting form and measurements
We can then alter or re-make your gloves. We reserve the right to impose a surcharge where goods have been returned to us in an unsatisfactory state.
When returning your gloves, we suggest that you obtain proof of postage. If the parcel is lost, proof of postage will be required to action a refund.

Your right to cancel
You have the right to cancel your order with us, provided you give us written notice within 7 working days of ordering.
If you exercise your right of cancellation after the goods have been delivered to you, you are responsible for returning the goods by secure means to Humphrey’s at your own cost. All items must be returned unused and in their original condition, from the original delivery country.
Refunds will be issued within 30 days of us receiving your cancellation notice. If we do not receive the goods, we will arrange to have them collected from you at your cost.
Conformity of Goods
We have made every reasonable effort to ensure that the description and specification of our products are correct at the time of writing. However, specifications and descriptions of products on this website are not intended to be binding and are intended only to give a general description of the products.
Furthermore, while the colours reproduction of the products is a close representation, we cannot accept any responsibility for any variation in colour caused by your browser software or computer system used by you.
Law and Territory
These Terms and Conditions and the use of our website are governed by English law and you agree to submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the English court. This does not affect your non-excludable statutory rights.
This website and our Terms and Conditions have been designed for use within the United Kingdom and under UK law. Whilst we are happy to consider requests for products and enquiries from outside the United Kingdom, we give no warranty, express or implied, that the use of this website or the placing of any order through this website from outside the UK complies with any applicable non-UK laws or regulations. Accordingly, any products or promotions not permitted under your local law are not offered to you.
